CAMBRIDGE SCHOOL, CUTTACK
We are experiencing the best weather in Cuttack. The winter season is very pleasant in this part of the country and temperature is very soothing till the end of February. On 6th November Bro. Johnson returned from Bangalore after attending the Education Conclave organized by Bro. Mani Mekkunnel. More than 40 delegates from all over the world participated. The province of Ranchi was represented by Bro. Clement and Bro. Johnson. The conclave was inaugurated by the Apostolic Nuncio. He was highly appreciative of our work and mission. He was also an old student of Assumption University, Bangkok where he obtained his PhD. There were several resource persons who gave very meaningful input sessions followed by the group discussion. The delegates were divided into five groups based on their language. Some concrete and radical steps were suggested by the delegates to improve our mission in the future. There was also simultaneous translation for the Brothers to understand the unknown languages.
On 7th three Sisters from St. Anna convent, Ranchi arrived for some official work. They were with us for two days. On 10th November Bro. Pinto went to Ranchi to attend the annual retreat. He had a very fruitful contemplation in Ranchi and returned with special grace and vivacity.
On 14th November we celebrated Children’s Day in a special way. Our band of talented teachers put up a two hour long cultural programme for the students. A large audience of students witnessed the talents of their dear teachers and cheered them. Bro. Frederick arrived in the community in the morning and left for Hyderabad in the afternoon.
