All India Association of Montfort Schools (AIAMS) VII National Conference of Principals 21 st to 24 th November 2024 Duties for the organizing committee members (Members of the National Education Commission)

Duties of moderators of sessions: 1. Ensure that the stage, sound system, laptop, LCD projector etc are set at least 5 minutes prior to each session as per the requirement of the guest speakers.

2. Get the participants seated a minute before the start of the session 3. Invite the guest speaker to come to the stage

4. Introduce the guest speaker within 2 to 3 minutes (not more). Refer to the bio-data. 5. Arrange with one of the Provincial Superiors to present a Gamcha (Bro.P.K.James will arrange the Gamcha).

6. Then invite the guest speaker to address the gathering. 7. Signal the guest speaker to wind up 5 minutes prior to end of the session

8. Moderators to take the questions from the participants one by one or three questions together and conduct the interactive session with the resource persons

9. Give a 1 to 2 minutes summary/vote of thanks and arrange with a Provincial Superior to present a memento if that is the last session by the guest speaker. (Bro.P.K.James will arrange memento)

10. Liaise with Bro.P.K.James for any transport arrangement after the session.

11. Throughout the session the moderator will be seated on stage/front row.

Duties of assistant moderators

1. To receive the guest speaker on arrival and to make the guest speaker feel comfortable by offering coffee/tea/water etc

2. To assist the moderator to perform the above duties 3. In addition, attend to any needs of the participants during the sessions

4. Distribute handouts given by the guest speakers

Note: The moderator and assistant moderator may get the help of other Brothers from their respective Provinces to moderate the session.

Assistance to Local Organizing Committee Members 1. All the Members of the National Education Commission are expected to assist the Local Organizing Committee Members- Bro.P.K.James and Team - in whatever ways they need your assistance.
